Le Chat Noir is a carefully restored and renovated stone built 19th century cottage, in the beautiful rural Western Loire. It has great character offering spacious accommodation. Set in over an acre of land, in a peaceful location close to the village of Noyant. (5 mins by car). Ideal for those wishing to escape to the country.
The village has full facilities available. Tourist Information Office; Banks with cash point,Boulangerie, Butchers, tabac, supermarkets (intermarche) with petrol station, Post Office, Pharmacies,Restaurants, and an excellent Friday market. Theres a good local french (English speaking) restaurant in Auverse, l'oeildeboeuf. Golf course 15 minutes drive, larger towns of Bauge, La Fleche, Le Lude, Chateau-le-Valliere, Chateau du Loir are all within 30 minutes drive. Ideally located for numerous chateaux and wine tours. Poppy - Bedroom with two single beds, and double sofa bed, with shower and hand basin. Upstairs toilet, again with original tiled floor.
Ground floor:
Lavender - Double bedroom on the ground floor, again exposed beams. There is also a travel cot if required. A spacious Bathroom on ground floor with toilet and shower over the bath.
Outside:
There is a large sun terrace with patio furniture, wooden garden bench for warm nights sitting under the grape vines sipping on the local French wine. Barbecue and is set in over an acre of land, mainly grass with trees and shrubs. It is a very quiet location ideal for relaxing, Be sure to stay up late for stargazing where the best opportunities are almost always to be found in remote rural areas, far from the lights of cities and town.
